The Process
Bring your items into us, no appointment needed.
We will always ask for your ideas on what you’d like so we can work to your specifications, we are customer led so the final decision is always up to you.
We have a large selection of mountboards, frames and additional items that we can show you, in different combinations.
We will advise you, if required, on frame selection for stability and protection of your piece and we are happy to offer our opinions on the colours or styles that we feel would suit your art and try some different techniques to add detail or enhance your items. We undermount and seal as standard which forms a protective layer between your artwork and the backboard, and protects from thunderflies entering into your picture.
We will ask about your need for any additional services e:g mount design, Conservation techniques or dry mounting, but we will advise if we feel it would benefit your artwork, either in terms of protection or visual impact.
Glass selection is next. We offer a range of specialist glass and acrylic which we will talk you through and advise on which option is best for protecting and preserving your artwork. Taking into account where your artwork is going to be displayed.
Lastly, we will measure your artwork with the chosen mount and frame and our pricing software will give you the completed cost.
We work to a standard 4 week turnaround at present, but if your items are needed for a specific date, we will endeavour to provide this for you.
We will take your contact details to be able to ring, text or email you when your work is completed. We will ask for a 50% deposit to secure your order with the remainder payable on collection of your piece. We also welcome payment in full at the time of ordering.
We also offer Gift Vouchers for all of our framing services which make an ideal gift for the art lover in your life. Please contact us for details.
